Task 01 for next session
To help you in your awareness of climate change issues I want you to identify:

1x item discussed in the film shown in session 1.

• You are then required to write 1x side of A4 expanding on this item. You’ll then need to discuss this with your learning team peers in week 2. I will be recording who manages to bring back these notes.

Considerations
• Look at other sources, web, books, TV etc.
• Feel free to bring along additional imagery to help explain your findings to your
learning team.
• Explain the issue as you see it, not as it was solely portrayed in the film.
• Talk about the different perspectives on the issue that there may be (pro and
against etc).
• How do you see the issue progressing? (positively or negatively and why?).
• Comment (if relevant) on how the item chosen may affect future designer’s ideas or
methods (at this stage we could be talking designers of various disciplines – furniture,
architects, print designers, packaging etc).
• We’ll bring these topics back for discussion next week in learning teams.
• I’ll be recording who brings back what issue for my records next week.
